Dalton
Trucking started dependable service in 1963, and was incorporated
in 1977. It has since grown into an over $32 million dollar
per year, 350 employee, 200 truck operation. Dalton trucking
Inc. offers specialized services in "open top" bulk transportation,
lowbed, general freight on flatbeds and vans. As well
as rail service, Intermodal and 3PL services.
In addition, the company provides transportation services,
offloading everthing from cow feed to lumber to steel.
Dalton Trucking's off road division operates loader, dozers,
blades and water trucks, offering customized services
to both cement plant customers and contractors
Dalton Trucking Inc.'s principal place of business is
a 30 acre campus located in Fontana Ca. near the California
Speedway.
At this site, trucks are maintained and repaired, fueled
washed and parked. Commodities as diverse as lumber, pipe
and steel beams are also stored.
The Company also operates its newest facility, “Dalton
Logistical Services” (DLS), located in the heart
of Southern California. DLS is the first public warehouse
to service Union Pacific's West Colton Yard. This facility
represents a joint effort by the Union Pacific Railroad
and Dalton Trucking to service mutual customers.

DLS provides
transloading, third party indoor/outdoor warehousing,
inventory control, and transportation by rail or truck.
Some of the commodities currently being handled at this
location are steel, paper goods, lumber, canned goods,
machinery, and other commodities.
The company also operates a third integrated facility
an Adelanto Ca considting of 10 acres, a 10,000 sq. ft.
shop, dispatch office, fuel island wash rack and ample
parking for 30 trucks. This terminal has various types
of dump trucks and services the High Desert, Central and
Northern California, with some hauls to Las Vegas and
Arizona. |
